Amelia Earhart: Legend of the Lost Aviator
By Shelley Tanaka

I liked this book because of the great amount of information about Amelia Earhart. She wanted to make air travel as common as driving a car. I liked this book because it tells a true story and has really great information and pictures about her. I think grade 4 and grade 5's would like this book because it has alot of information and would be too challenging for lower grades to read. The lower grades would enjoy all of the photographs and illustrations. This book has alot of variety like adventure, excitement, and shows determination. I enjoyed this book as it was very interesting and informative. She was a person who didn't let anything come between her and her dreams and was an inspiration to all women. I was intrigued to read about her as I knew very little about her other than how she met her demise. I also found the illustrations very colorful and vibrant. I would rate it 8 out of ten as it could have had more information

Wow! The pictures are breathtaking! I think the story of this amazing woman is told incredibly well. It is written in a child-friendly way that just sucked me in and urged me to read more. I, personally, think a good book is a book that can change how you feel about something. Now that I have read this book I am sad about Amelia Earhart's sudden disappearance. I also feel strongly about women's rights and think this book has shown the reader not only what she did, but why she did it. I rate it 9 out of 10!

This is a very interesting book. I thought it was cool because it didn't strike me as a history book. But it's filled with info about Amelia. It's just interesting.

This book I thought was a very interesting book I really liked the part where Amelia Earhart flew across the Atlantic ocean and they had to get rid of all her stuff and then when she came home she had 3 trunks full!

I love this book. At first, I didn't know much about Amelia Earhart until now. It brings so many facts to your mind. If you want to know more about her, I highly recommend this. You might even know more than your classmates!
