Amelia Earhart: Legend of the Lost Aviator
By Shelley Tanaka

Boo- Holden School

This was a pretty boring book. It contained info that I didn't want to hear. For example: What her hat was made of and how much she paid for it. It was written in an uncaptivating way.

St.Patrick

This is a interesting book that says cool things about her and describes her life.

Ecole Holy Name

It was good. Amelia Earhart flew all the way across the ocean!☻♥☺

Holy Name

I really enjoyed the book because it taught me that Amelia Earhart was an amazing role model for all women. She was spirited and free and I really liked that. I also liked that it was very well written.

oilfields

St. Patrick fine arts Lethbridge

Muriel Clayton Middle School

I loved the whole book. There was one disappointment it was the fact that she didn't make it all the way, it was also disappointing that it took so long to find where they hit down.

St.marys

I thought Amelia Earheart was a good book for me. It was fasinaiting to learn about the airplane and where she flew across the oceans, and how she died and the planes she bought.

Muriel Clayton MIddle School

It was a very good book and the end was my favourite. Now I want to do research on her.

Amelia Earhart This book about Amelia Earhart was awesome. It told her entire life story and how she had to work hard to fulfill her dream of flying an airplane. It includes some of her letters and journal entries throughout the book. Pictures and paintings follow along with the story. I liked how it told all the searching and things people found on the island where they think she crashed. I recommend this book to any one who likes an adventure.

Keephills School

Amelia Earhart was a somewhat terrible book. It was bad because it is not very interesting reading a biography of somebody who people aren’t entirely sure of. I only care about humor and interesting endings and that book has neither. I don’t like mystery books and I also only like biographies when they are about somebody I actually know. It was especially boring when they were talking about her childhood. I also don’t really care about air travel so that makes me dislike the place where it should be getting good.

Keephills School

Amelia Earhart I didn’t like this book because the ending was really bad. Because it didn’t explain a lot about the camp and why they crashed. It told too much about her as a kid. But I liked the middle of the book because it showed more about her adventures. So that’s why I didn’t like the book.

Keephills School

I thought Amelia Earhart was overall a great book. It was good except for the end. Which made it seem like the book was never finished and it gave no information about her crash. I learned a lot of facts from the book even though the ending wasn’t good. Like she was the first woman to fly over the Pacific Ocean and the first woman to fly around the world. Even though she crashed. The book did make me want to continue reading which a good thing is. I rate this book a 4/5 just for the ending. GREAT BOOK!!!!!

George P.Nicholson School

I liked this book because of the great amount of information about Amelia Earhart. She wanted to make air travel as common as driving a car. I liked this book because it tells a true story and has really great information and pictures about her. I think grade 4 and grade 5's would like this book because it has alot of information and would be too challenging for lower grades to read. The lower grades would enjoy all of the photographs and illustrations. This book has alot of variety like adventure, excitement, and shows determination. I enjoyed this book as it was very interesting and informative. She was a person who didn't let anything come between her and her dreams and was an inspiration to all women. I was intrigued to read about her as I knew very little about her other than how she met her demise. I also found the illustrations very colorful and vibrant. I would rate it 8 out of ten as it could have had more information

Ecole St Mary School

Wow! The pictures are breathtaking! I think the story of this amazing woman is told incredibly well. It is written in a child-friendly way that just sucked me in and urged me to read more. I, personally, think a good book is a book that can change how you feel about something. Now that I have read this book I am sad about Amelia Earhart's sudden disappearance. I also feel strongly about women's rights and think this book has shown the reader not only what she did, but why she did it. I rate it 9 out of 10!

This is a very interesting book. I thought it was cool because it didn't strike me as a history book. But it's filled with info about Amelia. It's just interesting.

red deer lake

This book I thought was a very interesting book I really liked the part where Amelia Earhart flew across the Atlantic ocean and they had to get rid of all her stuff and then when she came home she had 3 trunks full!

St.Margaret School

I love this book. At first, I didn't know much about Amelia Earhart until now. It brings so many facts to your mind. If you want to know more about her, I highly recommend this. You might even know more than your classmates!
