Alien Invaders: Species that Threaten Our World
By Jane Drake and Ann Love

I voted for... Alien Invaders because I wanted to see more animal invaders all over the world.

George P. Nicholson

Alien Invaders is a cool book because it has so much information about different, amazing creatures. Some of the creatures look odd. Some of the creatures were evil to the environment. The savers in the book were trying to save the communities from being harmed by the invaders. If you are interested in creatures of all sizes, then you will love this incredible information book! This book was a good idea but I am certain that this book had some errors. The Red-Eared slider is actually 28cm long that's maximum, it's native to Mid western states, west Virginia, southern Ohio, eastern New Mexico, northeastern Mexico, and it's invading Maine, New York, New jersey Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, SC, FL, INDIANA,wisconsin, nebraska, colorado, texas, arizona, calafornia, oregon, washington, hawaii, france, germany, the united kingdom, israel, south africa, new zeland, taiwan, southeast asia, canada and caribbean. If this is supposed to be a factual book make sure it's 100% true.

This is an interesting book that tells you all about harmful species and is for anyone who likes that kind of stuff.

Ecole St. Mary School

This book is really cool. The book is really good for seeing what kinds of animals are here. It tells the information about the animals. Some animals or insects are dangerous and some are not.

I learned about the animals that were mentioned in this book. I didn't know some of the species in here threatened the environment. This would be a good book for people who like to learn about animals. The Potato Blight was interesting because I didn't know that a disease could be spread on potatoes.

Oilfeilds

It was a really cool book and some of the stuff I read has come in handy this school year. I thought it was a REALLY cool book.

Ecole St. Mary

This book had a lot of interesting facts but because I'm not all that into non-fiction it was a very unusual thing to read. I learned about all the 'Alien Invaders That Threaten Our World'

If you like bugs and lizards you will this book

crestwood

Alien invaders is a great book about slimy and creepy lizards then this book is for you.

crestwood

Alien Invaders is awesome!!!! It talks about interesting stuff? Like alien stuff?

Ecole St Mary School

This is a wonderful book. It is slightly too long but I still liked reading it. I got bored about halfway through because it just goes on and on. Purple lufe-whatever...blah...blah...catfish...wild cats...blah...blah...blah...rats...some kind of ant...blaah...oh? really? 'sure? It's over! You get the point. It was not racist or any of those other insults that first guy was throwing at you. If I may argue, stuff does change. But, animals were all placed in different locations. You wouldn't want to put a polar bear with a gazelle, would you? The ecosystem was fine. the food chain, all of that, it all fit together. when stuff moves to other locations when it shouldn't, everything goes out of balance. Things don't belong in a country on the other side of the world from where they were born. This wouldn't happen if it weren't for the most destructive species on earth. Yours truly, Homo Sapiens! Again, this a pretty good book and I would recommend it mostly to people doing research.

Ecole St Mary School

Loved it. the pictures were cool too. I think it was good that it wasn't too long or too short. Go Jane and Ann!

Ecole St Mary School

Wow! The pictures in here are amazing. I love the accurate, detailed, descriptions of in the fact file. I enjoyed this although it just gives too much information. About three quarters of the way through, I just got bored. Of course, I kept on reading but still thought it could be simpler. If doing a report on the, purple loosestrife, for example, this would work. When just reading from front to back, well, yeah. You get the point. I'd still rate it a 7 out of 10.

C. Ian Mclaren

alien invaders is a good learning book, but I would not read it just for fun

C Ian Mclaren

I really liked this book. I liked the descriptions of where things are meant to be and where they are invading. The pictures are really accurate. I rate it 8/10

C. Ian McLaren School

Alien Invaders was a good book for kids that like facts. I like facts but I expected it to be about actual aliens. I mean it was cool but I kind a lost interest in the middle.

C. Ian McLaren School

I was dissapointed cuz I thought the book would be about Aliens not animals. And I got bored half way through the book. I'd rate the book 6 out of 10.

C. Ian McLaren School

When I started reading this book I thought it would be about monsters and actual aliens. When I found out that it was animals on this earth it blew me away. The illustrations were amazing. I learned a lot. I think I would score it an 8 out of 10, because it was a great book but there's something missing.

St.Patrick Fine Arts Elemntary School

it was an interesting book. But I don't like how they would translate it from inches to cm. If I really want to I 'll check. Same with feet and stuff. Out of 10 I would give it a 7 and a half

St. Teresa School

Terrible, racist, inconsiderate. All animals, including humans are Earthlings. Migrations of humans and other animals are as old as life on Earth. Change is part of life on this planet. We are living in a global world, and I particularly dislike the racist opinions on page 8. Had not the other books been so good, I would question the credibility of the people who choose and review the books for the RMBA.
