How It Works

  1. A committee of teachers, librarians, parents, and students select exemplary Canadian literature for students to read in grades 4-7.
  2. A teacher of adult leader registers students or a reading group of three readers or more  to interact with each other and discuss the books.
  3. Students read at least five books from the combined list of fiction, non-fiction and poetry. The more books, the better, of course.
  4. The teacher or adult leader needs submits the student’s votes by filling out the electronic ballot form on the voting page.
  5. Check back to see who won!
